Correct Errors on Your E-Visa

If there are mistakes on your approved e-visa (e.g., missing middle name, wrong passport number, incorrect arrival date), contact us via email at help@vietnamvisasos.com. Send us your current e-visa, passport photo, and flight details, and we’ll resolve the issue immediately.

How Vietnam E-Visa works

When you receive an e-visa issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department, it is a completed visa, meaning you can enter Vietnam with this e-visa without paying any extra fees. To use your e-visa, simply print it out and bring it along with your passport and air ticket to board the plane. Upon arrival at the entry ports, show the printed visa to the Vietnam Immigration Department. They will verify the details against your passport to ensure everything is correct. If all the information matches, the officer will stamp your passport, allowing you to go through the immigration checkpoint, collect your luggage, and officially enter Vietnam.

Vietnam Visa Options: Visa on Arrival vs. E-Visa

When applying for a Vietnam visa, you have the option of choosing between Visa on Arrival (VOA) or E-Visa. Both options are convenient, but each comes with its own advantages and limitations. With Visa on Arrival (VOA), you can apply online and receive an approval letter that allows you to get your visa stamped at the airport upon arrival in Vietnam. The visa fee starts from US $30, plus a US $25 stamping fee for processing within 3 working days. However, you must arrive by air at one of the 9 international airports in Vietnam. The E-Visa, on the other hand, is a fully electronic visa and can be used for entry via airports, landports, and seaports, with no stamping fee. It is available for citizens of all countries and has a maximum validity of 90 days. The processing fee starts from US $45, and you can apply directly online by submitting your information and a photo of your passport. The processing time for both visas is typically 3-5 working days, but urgent options are also available for faster processing. For the Visa on Arrival, you will need to provide additional documents, including a visa approval letter and the stamping fee in cash at the airport. However, with E-Visa, the process is entirely online, and you will receive your approved visa directly to your email, which can be printed and used for entry. Although the E-Visa option is straightforward, it’s important to check with airlines in advance, as not all are familiar with it, and it may occasionally cause issues at the airport. Regardless of the visa type you choose, both options offer an easy and fast way to visit Vietnam, allowing you to decide based on your travel needs.
